2025 CAT Youth Camp (Grades 5-8)

Youth Cat Camp

Dates: June 11-13, 2024

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Check-in at 5:30 p.m.)

Location: Bobcat Stadium – Press Box Side

Camp Schedule:

Wednesday, June 11: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 12: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday, June 13: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Camp Overview:

Get ready for an action-packed, skill-building experience at Youth Cat Camp! Over the course of three days, campers will immerse themselves in the fundamentals of football while learning from the coaches, players, and staff of the Montana State Bobcats. The camp will be held at Bobcat Stadium, the home of the Montana State football team, providing campers with the opportunity to train on the same field where future college stars perform.

Each day will feature a mix of skills and drills designed to teach campers all positions on the field. Campers will get hands-on experience and learn how to apply those skills in a fun and competitive environment with a special focus on Cat Ball, a camp favorite! The camp culminates in two padded days of training (Thursday and Friday) that allow athletes to put everything they've learned into action.

Helmet & Shoulder Pads (Provided if needed—available for Day 2 & 3)

Camp Highlights:

Learn the fundamentals of all positions and get practical experience
Take part in skills and drills designed to improve both individual technique and team play
Opportunity to train in a collegiate-level setting at Bobcat Stadium
Special emphasis on player development as campers transition from junior high to high school football
Expert instruction from Bobcat coaches, players, and staff

This camp is designed to give athletes a slight edge as they prepare for their high school football careers, ensuring they leave with a stronger understanding of the game and the skills to back it up.

Important Notes:

Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m. on June 11th at the Press Box Side of Bobcat Stadium.
Padded equipment (helmet and shoulder pads) will be provided for Days 2 and 3, but players should bring their own cleats and athletic gear.
Parents and guardians are welcome to watch and cheer on their campers during camp activities!

Camp Overview:

Join us for the Cat Kids Camp at Bobcat Stadium, a fun, action-packed two-day camp designed for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of football in a positive, encouraging environment. This non-contact, non-padded camp is perfect for campers entering grades 1-4 (Fall 2025). Whether you're new to the game or have some experience, this camp will teach you essential skills and help you grow as an all-around football player!

What to Expect:

Each morning, campers will participate in a series of drills covering all positions of the game—offense, defense, and special teams. You'll work on skills like passing, catching, blocking, tackling (non-contact), and more, all while having fun in a safe and supportive environment. Campers will also be able to test their skills in Cat Ball, a game designed to apply what they've learned in a competitive yet friendly setting.

The drills will be age-appropriate and designed to develop both physical and mental skills in a fun, non-competitive setting. Campers will rotate through various stations to ensure they get hands-on experience in every position, learning the fundamentals in a dynamic and engaging way.

No football pads or helmets needed! This is a non-contact camp focused on skill development.
